Polar Bear Plunge & Brunch
January 18, 2025
Our largest fundraiser! The plunge is hosted by CAMS of Lake Carolina and takes place at noon at Sunset Park in Lake Carolina. A donation through our website or GoFundMe gets you brunch with the ChippenWhale plunge team for pre-jump preparedness. Return to the brunch for live music and more food after the plunge.
Online Auction begins 3 weeks prior to the event. Live auction of additional items in the afternoon.

Lake Carolina Oyster Roast
October 2025 - Harborside Pool
Gather with friends and enjoy the best deal in town with the annual, all you can eat, Oyster Roast, hosted by Lake Carolina CAMS. All proceeds to benefit Children's Charities of the Midlands.
Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
November 2025 - Harborside Neighborhood
The Turkey Trot is a fun way to walk off some pounds before laying them on for Thanksgiving. The race is performed in the Harborside neighborhood of Lake Carolina.
USTAF Certified Race Route for the 5K with official chip timing from Strictly Running. Follow link to register on their website.
This event is also a featured race on Columbia Running Club Tour de Columbia.
